My name is Richard Schlicher and I am a Simsbury, CT based artist. I began around fifteen years ago (after thirty five years in the finance industry) with oil pastels. I am currently painting almost exclusively with oils. I'm inspired by nature, other artists, and other things. 

All of the paintings on my site are original and included are abstracts, landscapes, and human and animal portraits.  The sizes range from 5"x 7" to 48"x 72".
